As you climb the hills up towards your villa, you start to get a sense of seclusion and wonder. Smells of the vineyards under the Tuscan sun, olive trees shimmering in the light. A gravel track appears and after a few seconds you descend into a private gated 11th century Tuscan stone manor house.

Surrounded by olive groves and far reaching views this home had been restored by a caring owner inviting 10 guests to sleep in the main house, with a separate granary sleeping 2 guests. Outdoor swimming pool, with luxurious sun loungers and massage area welcomes guests to lounge throughout the day. Staff bring refreshing juices, cocktails and nibbles, as you plan your week ahead close to the beautiful town of Greve.

The landscaped gardens, multiple patios and terraces surround the manor house, with a gorgeous wooded area for when the heat of the midday Tuscan sun becomes too much. Magnificent cypress trees shoot up into the sky, standing proud within the gardens, the sound of crickets gently letting you know you’re in Tuscany.

This is a place which oozes soul and character, one which is truly authentic and keeps families returning year after year.

Sleep

Six bedroom suites with en-suite facilities. One bedroom can be converted into twins.

The 6th bedroom cottage suite located in the granary for extra privacy and quick access to the pool.

All bedrooms have been lovingly furnished offering plenty of space and storage as well as private terraces and views to enjoy.

Living Space

The main living areas are all found on the ground floor leading out onto the wide open gardens and outdoor dining spaces.

The lounge on three levels offers a dining space, TV area and fireplace which leads out onto a private BBQ area with 13 dining chairs and outdoor kitchen area.

Grounds

Hidden down an unpaved gravel track, you arrive at gates at the entrance of this stunning villa. Three hectares are surrounded by olive groves and vineyards providing a sense of nature and calm. The main villa sits proudly in the centre of the grounds with the pool and granary 30 metres away.

Dining

There are many areas for you to enjoy dining around the villa, both inside and out.

Have our staff bring you your early morning coffee sat beneath the tall pines and look forward to refreshing coolers and juices around the pool later that day.

As evening arrives, be greeted with a glass of bubbles and canapés before being seated at one of the chosen al fresco spaces.

Wellness

Early morning yoga on the deck overlooking the olive groves sets the tone.

The tranquil pool area is a delight to spend many hours soaking in the Tuscan sun.

When to Visit

Spring to Autumn

The climate in Tuscany enables travellers to visit at most times of the year, being warm and dry for large parts.

Visit in Spring and Autumn for slightly cooler months where July and August the temperature rises quick and the dry months really set in. Cool off by the pool, take trips to the coast and as our villas are located in the hills they naturally sit a few degrees lower than the hot valleys.

The villa sits amongst the rolling Tuscan hills just over an hours drive from Florence airport. The local town of Greve is easily reached by car or bike should you wish to cycle though a long hill winds back up to the villa to consider!

There are numerous vineyards close by to taste the local fine wines which our concierge will book ahead for you as well as day trips to nearby towns and sights such as stunning Siena.
