Founded by Ed May, Ed’s career started in America working in luxury independent hotels, including the #1 hotel in the world in 2003 as voted by Conde Nast, followed by managing chalets in Courchevel 1850, France.

Ed started his first private home rental service company in 2008, being the first company in England to offer hotel services in homes no matter where guests stayed. Ed still travels privately with clients and continues to expand the group structure to support and develop the luxury private rental market.

To date, Ed has developed three brands that all work within the luxury and exclusive property rental sector and is well respected by Michelin Star chefs, Global Travel Agents and some of the finest properties in the world.

Money has always bought luxury, expensive destinations and 1st class travel, but we wanted to create a business that went beyond what could be bought. Since 2008 we’ve had the pleasure of hosting clients’ celebrations, travel and hospitality. Clients who seek the very best, expect the highest levels of privacy, attention to detail and transparency from enquiry through to execution.To weave that invisible thread of authenticity that could be felt throughout every part of every heartfelt stay.

Meet Katie Bringing warmth and connection

Hidden and Found is run by hospitality duo Katie and Ed. Katie has worked extensively throughout Africa and Europe, is bi-lingual and brings connection, high-end service and warmth to guest stays.

As our senior event planner and concierge, Katie is passionate about curating travel for each and every client and oversees all stay requests with our team.

Katie is also a qualified yoga teacher travelling in and around Europe and adores finding properties and locations which provide people with a connection to nature.

Her belief: the mind rests peacefully when gazing on the horizon.

Travel is instilled in us. We have travelled and worked across the world. We got married on top of a mountain with family and friends, listening to the cracking of glaciers, surrounded by natural wonders. We seek to discover, open doors and thrive off guest experiences.
