Located between Loch Leven Castle and the town of Kinross, the Estate possesses one of the most historic views in Scotland, directly across from the 11th-century castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned and finally abdicated.
Kinross House Estate stretches over 4000 acres of woodland, beautifully landscaped gardens and extends to Loch Leven on which stands the private Loch Leven Castle Island, famous for being the island where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in the 1560s. There is an abundance of options to host sporting activities either on the Estate or further afield, or to enjoy sightseeing around many famous Scottish landmarks.

Weather in Scotland is unpredictable at times, though in this part of the World the outdoors is inviting no matter the weather. Expect cool and wet Winters and pleasant and long sunny days June through to September.
The estate is situated on a secluded estate just 25 miles north of Edinburgh. Just 30 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport, chauffeur and coach transfers can be arranged. Kinross House also has its own helipad, large enough for several helicopters to arrive.
